With Thursday’s ‘Galfond Challenge’ session complete, another 883 hands are in the books for the battle between Phil Galfond and ‘VeniVidi1993.’ Thursday saw ‘VeniVidi1993’ finish on top by a figure of €78,237.54. That puts ‘VeniVidi1993’ back in the lead overall by €31,753.17 with 1,428 hands to go.
Phil Galfond lost €34,580.19 to ‘VeniVidi1993’ in Tuesday’s ‘Galfond Challenge’ session, but he was able to maintain his overall lead.
Phil Galfond finished Monday’s ‘Galfond Challenge’ session against ‘VeniVidi1993’ with a €121,486.95 victory and is now up €81,064.56 overall.
On Saturday, Phil Galfond and ‘VeniVidi1993’ traded blows for another 680 hands of €100-200 PLO on Run It Once Poker, pushing their 25,000-hand ‘Galfond Challenge’ to 21,339 hands complete. The latest session went Galfond’s way, as he booked a €28,722.88 win. ‘VeniVidi1993’ still leads overall, though, up by €40,422.39.
