XL Inferno: ‘RagingStoic’, ‘Dmilito22 ‘ Highlight Day 11 Champs

Another 13 888poker XL Inferno events were on the schedule on Wednesday with a number of top-100 players grabbing big scores. The biggest winner on the day was ‘RagingStoic‘ who took down Event #137 ($109 Eight Max) for just over $13,000. He beat out #27-ranked ‘Namlleh‘ heads-up for the win.

Leandro ‘Dmilito22’ Bustillo, the #2-ranked Argentinian in the world, beat out 257 other players to win Event #134 ($160 Crocodile) for $7,914.15. Bustillo is currently ranked #53 in the world and should make an appearance in the top 50 when the rankings are updated this week thanks to this victory. The runner-up in that event, Guntis ‘luffEEE’ Aleskins, actually made three final tables on Wednesday. Along with the second place finish, he had a third place finish (Event #140 – $109 Tornado) and a sixth place finish (Event #131 – $109 Lightning Six Max). The three cashes were worth a combined $9,675.25.

Bustillo was the only player to make three final tables but there were seven others who made two. Brazil’s ‘jxangai‘ won Event #139 ($35 Wednesday Challenge) for $8,167.68 and then finished fifth in Event #136 ($109 Lightning Six Max) for $1,281.12. To go along with his runner-up finish in Event $137, ‘Namlleh‘ also posted fifth place finish in Event #131. ‘AcesJoker88‘, ‘974kWRT’, ‘kinsQ’, ‘LAlpine’ and ‘midein’ also had two final table appearances on Wednesday.

Guilherme ‘ImASpaceman’ Cheveau, the #99-ranked player in the world and #8 in Brazil, took down Event #136 ($109 Lightning Six Max) for $6,534.37.
