Day 6 of the 888poker XL Inferno series belonged to Leocir José ‘LeoJoseCarne’ Carneiro, who rose above the field to claim two victories on Friday. The first conquest for ‘LeoJoseCarne’ came in the $109 buy in Lightning Six Max event, where he won $2,589 as a result of a heads up deal made with Anton ‘toshapiter86’ Vinokurov. Carneiro followed that win up with his second victory of the day came in the $30 Deepstack Swordfish, where he won $3,158 for beating a field of 608 entrants.

After falling short in the Lightning, where he finished second, Vinokurov rebounded with a win in the $30 Swordfish that was worth $3,325.

The heftiest first place sum was won by ‘BustiJauli‘ in the $150 Knockout tournament. ‘BustiJauli’ claimed $5,921 for first place along with $492 in bounties. Other winners of over $5,000 were ‘PuntSonPunt‘ in the $160 Crocodile.

Additional winners were ‘Smithstudent’ for topping the $55 Breeze field for $2,903, ‘konnhand’ in the $55 Monsoon for $4,389, and ‘beny76xx’ in the $35 Friday Challenge for $4,048 as a result of a four-way deal.
