The 888poker XL Inferno online poker tournament series continued Sunday with more than $1.2 million in cash prize money awarded to players. PocketFives member ‘juanki9605‘ of Spain (who goes by ‘B4NKR0LL3R‘ at 888 Poker) had a breakout evening by winning the $600 buy-in WHALE event for $50,947 while final-tabling two other XL Inferno Sunday events. ‘Kannwas‘ finished second in the Whale for $38,177 with ‘Imyurfriend‘ cashing for $28,962 in third and ‘joga_pra_cor‘ collecting $21,721 in fourth.

‘PokerMogo‘ earned a $44,997 payday by coming out on top in the $160 buy-in Tune Up event. Longtime PocketFiver Renato ‘renaton’ Nomura of Brazil (ranked #219 worldwide) finished second for $32,588 followed by ‘surprisefirm‘ in third for $24,767 and ‘IWant2Gamble‘ in fourth for $18,145.

‘ThesecretVMS‘ was victorious in the $215 buy-in Mega Deep tournament and walked away with $34,812. ‘CrystalMad‘ was awarded $25,142 in the runner-up slot while ‘TrankNLVida‘ was eliminated in third place for a cash prize of $18,760.

There was a three-way final table deal that involved P5s members in the Sunday Challenge. Lithuania’s ‘SancaPanca‘ received $16,327 for the win, 112th-ranked Rodrigo ‘selouan1991’ Selouan of Brazil walked away with $15,533 in second while Top 500 player Cathal ‘shinerrr’ Shine finished third for $14,088.
