Portugal’s João ‘Naza114’ Vieira would probably have told you that the 2019 PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker was going well even before Thursday when he added another title and a wack of cash to his growing tally.

Vieira, who won Event #26 High ($530 Pot Limit Omaha Six Max w/rebuys) last week, beat out the 1,064-player field to take down Event #52 High ($530 No Limit Hold’em Midweek Freeze) on Thursday for $86,876.70. Dutch grinder ‘lehout‘ finished runner-up for $63,491.85 while Brazilian Edison ‘Edison82’ Roberto earned $46,401.83 as the third-place finisher.

Vieira wasn’t done there though. He made his way through 140 other players, including a final table stacked with previous WCOOP event winners ‘calvin7v‘, Bjorn ‘bokkie87’ Verbakel and Denis ‘aDrENalin710’ Strebkov to get heads-up with Ian ‘sprocketsAA’ Shaw. The two battled heads-up before Shaw prevailed to win $29,806.19 and the WCOOP title. Vieira ended up taking home $23,073.96. Third-place finisher ‘1bloodflood‘ earned $17,862.36.

The biggest winner on the day was Russia’s ‘HITRII999‘. He took home $47,040.87 from the prize pool and then earned $40,462.85 in bounties after beating 532 other players in Event #54 High ($1,050 No Limit Hold’em Six Max PKO). Adam ‘The_Reynold’ Reynolds finished second for $33,614.64 and $16,988.28 in bounties while ‘GioPires21‘ grabbed $24,003.92 and another $4,488.28 in bounties as the bronze medal finisher.

The four other players who added a WCOOP title on Thursday were ‘sontz88‘, ‘jaggalo1231‘, ‘AlexGC1989‘, and ‘ImThereNow‘.
