The “conservative educational foundation” Judicial Watch, which is heavily supported by Las Vegas Sands CEO Sheldon Adelson (pictured), is doing its part by suing the US federal government for access to documents pertaining to the Department of Justice’s 2011 reinterpretation of the Wire Act.

One of the tenets of Sheldon Adelson‘s fight against online gaming and poker is that “it can’t be policed to prevent” underage gaming. It is a belief that the billionaire casino mogul (pictured) has stated on many occasions and about many other subjects including underage drinking and prostitution.

According to the Poker Players Alliance, the main lobbying voice for poker players on Capitol Hill, a bill could be introduced in the US Congress that “would block new states from licensing online poker while a federal study is conducted.”

On Wednesday, while Congress was adjourned, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham (pictured) introduced Restoring America’s Wire Act in the US Senate. The legislation, driven at the behest of Las Vegas Sands CEO Sheldon Adelson, bans internet gambling and online poker in the US.
