The first round of the PocketFives #1 Number One contest is complete and while all four #1 seeds had little trouble advancing to the second round, there were five first round upsets which could change the fates of a few of the former #1-ranked players.

Chris Moorman is easily one of the most – if not the most – decorated players in PocketFives history. He’s been the #1-ranked player 13 different times and has held that spot for a combined 23 weeks. He was the first player to break $10 million and $15 million in lifetime earnings.

On Thursday, Chad M8kingmovesBatista (pictured) passed away. His family released a statement on Twitter that read, “It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, nephew, cousin, brother, and friend, Chad lilholdem954 Batista. Chad died suddenly this beautiful Thursday afternoon with his family surrounding him.”
