Major online poker tournaments witnessed a number of uncommon overlays this past weekend as top-ranked PocketFives members battled it out at a couple of key final tables.

The largest cash prize on Sunday was awarded to ‘WestCliff21‘ upon winning the PokerStars Sunday Million outright for $142,336. The runner-up spot in that event went to ‘nodnek111‘ who walked away with $99,887 while ‘Heartthrob10‘ cashed for $70,097 in third place and ‘SinkedShrimp‘ took home $49,192 for fourth. Brazilian Guilherme ‘CheVeaU’ earned a $34,521 payday upon being eliminated in fifth place. PokerStars player ‘Graftekkel‘ was victorious in the Sunday Warm-Up for $52,422 with Germany’s ‘Fiktenasch‘ received $37,691 in second.

Several online poker heavyweights were on hand in the $2,600 buy-in partypoker Super High Roller. 4th-ranked ‘C Darwin2‘ of Sweden (who recently eclipsed $5 million in all-time online event cashes) captured an outright win in this weekend’s SHR on Party for $42,550. 71st-ranked ‘3BunPass‘ of the United Kingdom collected $28,750 for second as Russia’s ‘Blackk‘ (ranked #133) placed third for $17,250. Partypoker player ‘Afghaneren‘ got an even $39,000 for winning the $530 buy-in High Roller event with 49th-ranked ‘hellohellohello‘ of Russia and 69th-ranked ‘pappadogg‘ taking home $29,500 and $22,000 for their respective second and third place finishes.

Sweden’s ‘Ariados‘ (ranked #27 at online tournament play) scored a $26,113 cash prize for taking down the $600 buy-in WHALE tournament on 888 poker. Lukas ‘suk12’ Soucek of the Czech Republic added to his bankroll as well over the weekend with a heads-up chop in the Mega Deep which resulted in a $21,069 payout for first place.

Seth ‘Setherson2’ Davies came out on top in the $1,050 buy-in PokerStars Sunday Grand tournament to claim a $48,072 cash payout. Pedro ‘pedrohennn’ Correa (ranked #119 worldwide) inched closer to $3 million in career online tournament cashes with a second place finish for $36,102. ‘WushuTM’ was the biggest winner in the Pot Limit Omaha version of the Sunday Grand after negotiating a $24,251 three-way final table chop to compensate an official second place effort. ‘Turbofluen‘ took first in the Sunday Supersonic for $33,225 and ‘zprotosz‘ outlasted 27,800+ opponents in the Sunday Storm to take home $27,366 (three-way deal).
