One week after the partypoker MILLION was cancelled due to a server crash, the event returned in force with the largest field in the history of the event and beat the $1 million guarantee for the first time.

The MILLION joined the PokerStars Sunday Million as the events that both surpassed their seven-figure guarantees and the 888poker XL Blizzard Main Event wrapped up with a small overlay.

All three podium finishers in the partypoker MILLION secured the bag on a six-figure score after coming to an agreement on a deal. ‘AbejlogluBele‘ picked up $130,157.63 as the official winner while ‘bite_me‘ came in second place for $112,000 and ‘BuddyRW‘ earned $105,000 for coming in third place. The event drew 5,321 runners to push the total prize pool to $1,057,432.

The PokerStars Sunday Million drew 10,603 runners with Brazil’s ‘lo-fi dream‘ earning $108,822.40 for an outright victory. Bulgaria’s ‘n1ksis‘ picked up $78,965.94 for coming in one spot short of the title while another Brazilian, ‘Eduado850‘, finished in third place for $57,305.06.

After 11 days of play and 33 events, the 888poker XL Blizzard wrapped up with 2,077 entries in the $250 buy-in Main Event making for an $11,905 overlay on the $500,000 guarantee. ‘ribamech15‘ won $84,450 for beating the 2,076 other entries while ‘grataveres10‘ added $60,100 to their bankroll for a runner-up performance. Third place went to ‘fastfingers‘ for $46,000.

Daniel Negreanu traveled from Las Vegas to Toronto to make his debut in the GGPoker $150 Masters on Twitch. Things didn’t go too well for Negreanu though, as he was eliminated before reaching the money.

The event, which features a freezeout format, drew 2,135 runners and fell just $5,370 short of the $300,000 guarantee for the smallest overlay in the short history of the event. ‘mayKKz_‘ won the event and a $44,710 score while ‘katoooo‘ scored $31,871 as the runner-up. Third place finisher ‘KittyAtTheCocobongo‘ turned a $15 satellite win into $22,719.
