SCOOP: ‘NationalPPP’ KOs Way to $157K and First COOP Title

The Sunday schedule for PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker was jam-packed with Austria’s ‘NationalPPP‘ walking away as the big winner.

Topping the 1,054-player field in Event #64 High ($1,050 Turbo No Limit Hold’em PKO), ‘NationalPPP’ earned $86,060.33 and also managed to pick up $70,937.43 in bounties. Pauli ‘Fiilismies’ Äyräs fell one spot short of the title but still earned $62,895.13 from the prize pool and another $4,562.50 in bounties. Pablo ‘pabritz’ Brito Silva finished third and walked away with $45,965.73 on top of $13,986.33 in bounties.

Two Polish players went head-to-head at the end of Event #55 High ($1,050 Deep Stacks No Limit Hold’em). The #1-ranked player in Poland, ‘Radogoszcz‘, emerged victorious over ‘fellatiado’ and added a nice score of $69,042.38 to his bankroll. ‘Fellatiado‘ ended up with $51,790.04 for his efforts while third place finisher ‘P0KERPR02.0‘ took home $38,848.86.

Austria’s ‘tigerphil1‘ made the most of his entry into Event #57 High ($530 Eight Max No Limit Hold’em PKO) beating out 2,254 other players to win $83,448.80 while also collecting $55,864.56 in bounties. ‘zerodeda‘ banked $59,484.41 and $19,407.17 in bounties as the runner-up and Luke ‘lb6121’ Schwartz wound up third for $42,402.56 and another $6,763.68 in bounties.

‘Tinas21‘ and ‘BlackOps02’ came to terms on a deal in Event #58 High ($1,050 Six Max Five Card Pot Limit Omaha). ‘Tinas21’ ended up winning the event and pocketed $50,670.64 while ‘BlackOps02’ wound up with $44,717.14. Third place finisher Laszlo ‘omaha4rollz’ Bujtas walked away with $30,098.75.

For the 13th time this year, another player picked up a second SCOOP title. Brazil’s ‘zilbeee‘ won Event #58 Medium ($109 Six Max Five Card Pot Limit Omaha) for – $19,626.96. His first win came in Event #20 Medium ($109 Stud Hi-Lo).
