The problem with being the #1-ranked online poker player in the world is that the rest of the world is chasing you. A bit of a rungood from any of the contenders puts your position in peril. Unless of course, you’re Swedish superstar ‘C Darwin2‘.

Thanks to three qualifying cashes over the past week, ‘C Darwin2’ now sits 1,201.41 ahead over any other competitor. Things started with a bang for ‘C Darwin2’ this past week. He took down the PokerStars High Roller Series Event #3 for $45,291 and 504.98 points. He followed that up with a win in partypoker’s Heavyweight Eliminator for $6,125 and 158.11 points. He rounded things out with an eighth-place finish in the PokerStars High Rollers Series Event #10 for $12,269 and 194.35 points.

Steven ‘SvZff’ van Zadelhoff, ‘lena900‘and Joao ‘joaosimaobh’ Simao all maintained spots #2 – #4 respectively, but another Swedish player worked his way into the #5 spot this week.

‘Sheater‘, a former #1-ranked player, didn’t put in his usual amount of volume, but did pick up 240.67 points thanks to a fourth-place finish in the PokerStars Daily 500 and PokerStars High Roller Series Event #21 on November 30.

He wasn’t the only former #1 to make a big move this past week. Fabrizio ‘SixthSenSe19’ Gonzalez picked up two wins on partypoker this week to add 363.05 points and move from #11 to #6.

There were four players who moved back into the Top 25 this week. Russia’s ‘hellohellohello‘ went from #28 to #16, Patrick ‘pleno1’ Leonard went from #35 to #21, Germany’s ‘nilsef‘ from #29 to #23 and ‘kofi89‘ moved up from #30 to #25.
