The penultimate day of partypoker POWERFEST action saw 13 players claim themselves a title. Dutch grinder ‘Tom_Poker_NL’ won the only High Roller event on the schedule, beating out 109 other players in Event #66 High Roller ($530 PKO, Fast, Mix Max) to win $12,814.74 including bounties.

‘MartinMirellaSm‘ finished as runner-up for $9,331.03 while ‘trackomat‘ ended up taking home $4,372.72 for a third place finish.

It was also a big day for one of partypoker’s newest ambassadors. Matthew Staples picked up his first POWERFEST title in Event #65 Medium ($33 Deep Turbo Eight Max) by outlasting 580 other players. He also managed a fifth place finish in Event #65 High ($109 Deep, Turbo, Eight Max).

Germany’s ‘smir9david’ took down Event #63 High ($215 Deep, Six Max) for just over $15,000. Ukraine’s ‘VblackholeV‘ banked $11,100 for finishing second while Canadian ‘MattSplatt‘ came third for $8,062.50.

‘Dorianriosvnzla‘ topped the 337-player field in Event #64 High ($320 PKO, Eight Max) to take home $7,744.177 plus $11,719.20 in bounties. ‘Jeff7010‘ earned $7,634.49 from his second place finish but added just $79 in bounties. Third place finisher ‘payme2008888‘ earned $5,362.40 from the prize pool and an additional $3,606.84 in bounties.
