The biggest buy-in event on the partypoker POWERFEST attracted a star-studded 105-player field on Thursday and not surprisingly, one of poker’s top-ranked online players emerged with the victory.

Russian ‘PhileasFogg‘, who reached the #2 spot on the PocketFives Rankings as recently as January, picked up $643,125 for winning the event. That score is four times as large as his previous career best. In August 2018, he won $160,888 for winning the PokerStars Sunday Million. ‘FMylife‘ finished as the runner-up for $459,375 while ‘udeservit’ picked up the bronze medal and $328,125. Viktor ‘Isildur1’ Blom finished fourth for $229,687.50.

British grinder ‘RobTv87‘ topped the 212-entry field in Event #53 High Roller ($1,050 Deep, Eight Max) to bank $43,226.80. Canadian ‘FrioPequeno‘ and Britain’s ‘Saiid92izi‘ won a respective $31,376 and $22,366 for finishing second and third.

‘TIMEXCNT‘ picked up the victory in Event #55 High Roller ($2,100 PKO, Eight Max) to win $30,369.89 and $45,579.58. He also finished sixth in Event #54 (SHR) for $131,250. Runner-up ‘FranBenitez91‘ earned $30,334.02 from the prize pool and collected an additional $14,142.18 in bounties. Laszlo ‘omaha4rollz’ Bujtas finished third and won $22,143,54 and $10,828.12 in bounties.

Bujtas wasn’t done there. He finished runner-up to ‘Sofie2019‘ in Event #56 Super High Roller ($5,200 Pot Limit Omaha, Six Max) to pick up $97,500. ‘Sofie2019 earned $156.403. Third place finisher ‘JgsNV‘ banked $60,000.
