Day 7 of partypoker POWERFEST had one partypoker pro pick up a title and another one got as close to one as you can get without winning while also making a second final table appearance.

Patrick Leonard was the most high profile winner on Day 7 and he pocketed over $40,000 in the process. The former #1-ranked online player in the world and current partypoker team pro beat out 378 other players to win Event #42 High ($530 Six Max No Limit Hold’em PKO) for $20,102.66 from the prize pool plus an additional $21,650.30 in bounties.

The #2-ranked player in Russia, ‘sweet_dreammm‘, finished runner-up for $14,875.85 while ‘Specter_Litt‘ earned $10,805.09 as the third place finisher.

The next biggest winner of the day was ‘benderbei1‘ who took down Event #43 High Roller ($1,050 No Limit Hold’em PKO) for $25,487.50. His victory denied Kristen ‘Krissyb24’ Bicknell the second victory of the day for partypoker team pros. Bicknell ended up in second place for $18,500. The #1-ranked player in Russia, ‘PhileasFogg‘, wound up third for $13,187.50

Bicknell had another close call in Event #45 High Roller ($530 Fast Six Max No Limit Hold’em) where she finished fifth for $6,000. The eventual winner, ‘daskalos20’, earned $24,906 for the win.
