While a lot of people might have been had their attention on the college football Conference Championships on Saturday, some of the best online poker players in Pennsylvania were chasing a championship of their own.

Day 8 of the PokerStars Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker featured two events, both No Limit Hold’em, with over $50,000 in prize money.

ChasingDonkeys Chops Deepstack

The final two players of Event #22 ($100 Deepstack NLHE) decided to chop up over $12,000 in prize money after outlasting 415 other entries.

‘ChasingDonkeys‘ took home $6,343.72 and the title after beating ‘MrChillibin’ heads-up. Runner-up status earned ‘MrChillibin‘ $5,593.72 while ‘NeillyAA74‘ banked $3,472.28 as the third-place finisher.

‘An0ldLady’ Flies Down Speedway

While the first event on the day had little trouble hitting the guarantee, the second event just squeaked past the posted number. The $150 Saturday Speedway drew 113 total entries to create a $15,560.10 prize pool, just past the $15,000 guarantee.

‘An0ldLady‘ beat everybody to win $3,563.78 and their first PACOOP title. Runner-up ‘johnyewest37‘ picked up $2,683.36 and ‘AllinWithAJoff‘ posted another strong result, coming in third-place for #$2,020.49.
