For the next three weeks, 888poker is giving online poker players the chance to win their share of a $1 million guaranteed prize pool for just $100.

The Millions Superstorm Main Event began March 1 and offers Day 1 starting flights every day until Saturday, March 21. Each Day 1 flight runs through the end of Level 11 or until just 15% of the field remains. Surviving players advance to Day 2 on Sunday, March 22.

There are 25 Day 1 flights in total, including two on March 3, 8, and 15.

The first Day 1 flight ran on Sunday, March 1 with 2,018 players all taking their first shot and 399 of them moved on to Day 2. Through the first three starting flights, there has been 2,895 entries to generate $266,340 of the guarantee.

To avoid an overlay, the events will need a total of 10,870 players over the course of those 25 Day 1 flights.

Satellites Galore

While the $100 buy-in is meant to make this affordable for a wide-range of poker players, there is a robust schedule of satellites offered as well and it takes just a single penny to get started.

The $0.01 “Pennybuy” event is the first step and awards top finishers with seats in the $2.20 Sub-Satellite.

The $0.50 Superstorm Sub-Satellites award the top finishers with seats to the $12 Mega Satellite and the $2.20 Sub-Satellite puts top finishers entry into the $16.50 Mega Satelite.

Both the $12 and $16.60 Mega Satellites all offer guaranteed Day 1 seats and run multiple times per day.

Freerolls, Too

Even players who don’t want to risk anything can find a way to get in on the action. Players can earn entry into daily freerolls by completing one or more of the following challenges:

• Play tournaments on 888poker totaling $3 or more (rebuys not included).
• Win a hand with pocket aces in any cash game with stakes of at least $0.02/$0.05.
• Play 888casino games risking at least $5
• Bet at least $5 in the 888sports sportsbook.

Players completing any of those challenges earn two tickets to use on either the $1M Superstorm Main Event Freeroll which awards 50 seats to any Day 1 flight or in the $3,000 Superstorm Freeroll which is a tournament with a $3,000 prize pool. Both events run daily until Day 2 of the Millions Superstorm.

Players can also take advantage of the Daily Spinner which awards tickets to the $1M Superstorm BLAST Freeroll, which gives out 600 $5 BLAST tickets, or direct entry to the $1M Superstorm Main Event.
