WSOP Super Circuit Online: ‘800-522-4700’ Wins HR Championship

Four players earned rings in Sunday’s WSOP Super Circut Online Series on GGPoker but only one of them walked away a millionaire.
Costa Rica-based ‘800-522-4700‘ took down Event #8 ($25,000 High Roller Championship) for $2,198,292. Former #1-ranked Patrick ‘Babu$hka’ Leonard fell one spot short of the ring but took home $1,611,342 as a consolation prize. Third place finisher ‘HotPot44‘ also picked up a seven-figure score, earning $1,181,110.
The $25,000 buy-in event is the largest buy-in in WSOP Circuit history. The 505 entries built the prize pool to $12,372,500 making it the fifth largest online poker tournament prize pool ever. The only events with more money up for grabs were the 2019 and 2018 partypoker MILLIONS ($21,780,000 and $21,090,000), the PokerStars 14th Anniversary Sunday Million ($18,603,200), and the 10th Anniversary Sunday Million ($12,423,200).
‘ShopChop96‘ topped the 5,161-player field in Event #7 ($200 Monster Stack) to win the ring and add $135,965 to their bankroll. Runner-up ‘Jayb0y_11‘ earned $92,875 while ‘LuckyBuda‘ took home $63,866 for coming in third place.
Event #9 ($100 Mini Main Event) drew 29,357 entries over the course of 12 starting flights. On Sunday, ‘miya111‘ earned the winner’s share of $278,361 from the $2,700,844 prize pool for outlasting everybody. Runner-up ‘lecimy_tutaj‘ scored a $198,411 payday and ‘Freddyf86‘ rounded out the podium finishers and secured a $141,434 bankroll boost.
The great game of Pot Limit Omaha rounded out the Sunday schedule in a big way. Event #10 ($10,000 PLO High Roller Championship) had 234 entries to create a $2,269,800 prize pool. Canada’s ‘ChilaxChuck‘ picked up the win and $442,041 for their efforts. Just missing out on the ring gave Austrian ‘BailaMorena‘ a $330,250 payday while ‘SillyRabbit‘ – another Canadian – earned $246,731 for finishing in third place.
The WSOP Super Circuit Online continues on Tuesday with the final day of Event #11: Deepstack Bounty $500,000 GTD. There are another eight ring events and $10.5 million in guarantees on the schedule.
