SCOOP: Connor Drinan Grabs Third Title in Four Days

Over the last four days, Connor Drinan has dominated the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker. It started on Friday when Drinan took down Event #34 ($530 Pot Limit Omaha 8-or-better) for $34,420.52 and continued on Sunday when he topped the 150-entry field in Event #40-H ($5,200 PLO 6-Max) for $152,011.46. On Monday Drinan won $28,358.58 for beating out 1,051 other players in Event #45-M ($215 NLO8 Six Max PKO). Drinan now has four career SCOOP titles.

The two-day Sunday Million came down to a three-way chop with ‘Corback_fr‘ earning $216,617.61 and the SCOOP title. Runner-up ‘Murashko‘ walked away with $204,110.39 while ‘MrTermo1021‘ finished third and had to settle for $124,812.98.

Andrey ‘Anjeyyy’ Novak was the biggest winner on Monday. The Ukrainian poker pro beat out 263 other players to win Event #44 High ($5,200 NLHE Sunday High Roller SE) for $253,819.24. Falling one spot short of the title meant ‘Odonkor1‘ had to settle for $192,486.75. Jan ‘Graftekkel’ Arends came in third for $145,974.57.

Dutch grinder ‘Pimmss‘ won Event #43 High ($2,100 NLHE PKO Sunday Warm-Up SE) and pocketed $88,844.76 from the prize pool plus another $101,398.42 in bounties. The final bounty belonged to ‘calculer_‘ who won $88,844.49 and $13,078.13 from bounties. Third place finisher ‘DEX888‘ picked up $56,101.54 and $39,976.56 in bounties.

The final two players in Event #42 High ($530 NLHE) chopped up $131,000 with eventual champion ‘Floesoe‘ earning $75,183.24 and runner-up ‘cocojamb0‘ adding $65,895.06 to their bankroll. ‘Tyrion2205‘ took the final spot on the podium for a $41,852.60 score.

‘Darth Vder58‘ beat out 143 other players in Event #45-High ($2,100 Six Max NLO8 PKO) to earn the SCOOP title, $26,729.51 first place prize money and another $47,515.62 from bounties. Finishing in second earned ‘kiiski‘ $26,729.40 and $7,875 worth of bounties. Third place finisher ‘nilsef‘ walked away with $17,857.80 and $6,812.50 in bounties.

‘pruttzz12‘ added $176,202.87 to their bankroll after winning Event #46 High ($1,050 NLHE). Second place finisher ‘Lavrik-mastr‘ walked away with $127,178.70 while bronze medalist ‘FourSixFour‘ just missed out on a six-figure score, banking $91,794.63.
