PokerStars Adds Even More Guaranteed Money To PACOOP

Just a day after increasing prize pool guarantees for the ongoing Pennsylvania Championship of Online Poker by $125,000, PokerStars PA went ahead and added even more guaranteed money to the series.
Twenty-one events saw a bump in the prize pool guarantee. Some of those events had already undergone a guarantee increase, while others were seeing a boost for the first time. All told, an additional $100,000 was added across the events, bringing the total guarantees on the first-ever PACOOP to $1.225 million.
The $300 buy-in PokerStars PACOOP Main Event did not see a second prize pool guarantee bump, although the guarantee was raised from $100,000 to $125,000 on the first round of enhancements. But, five other events on the day the PACOOP Main Event kicks off, December 15, saw their prize pool guarantees grow.
Event #43 ($100 NL Hold’em Big Antes) went from $15,000 to $20,000, Event #45 ($50 NLHE – Main Event Structure) went from $25,000 to $35,000, Event #46 ($100 NLHE Progressive KO) went from $20,000 to $25,000, and Event #47 ($100 Six Max PLO) and Event #48 ($75 Sunday SuperSonic SE) both went from $10,000 to $12,000 on this latest round of increases.
The largest increases on this latest round came in the form of three $10,000 bumps.

Entering Wednesday, December 4, 13 events on the 2019 PokerStars PACOOP schedule had been completed. Of those 13, 12 had very easily surpassed the guaranteed prize pool amount. The only event to fall short of the guarantee was Tuesday’s Event #13 ($150 Escalating Antes NLHE). That event had a $20,000 guarantee and needed 146 entries to get there. It ultimately fell 14 entries short, so while it missed the guarantee, it wasn’t a massive way off.
